Becoming a Marriage Celebrant was something I thought long and hard about. In early 2008 I took the plunge and undertook my marriage celebrant and then funeral celebrant courses. In September 2008 I was appointment by the Attorney General as a registered Authorised Marriage Celebrant.
I have also had the honour to assist families in the most challenging and emotional moments in life – farewelling a loved one with a funeral ceremony.
Whilst I cannot control all the stress of your day, I believe it is my task to ensure the ceremony part runs smoothly and without incident. I am successful in doing this by being extremely organised and having the ability to think quickly on my feet.
I am married and have three daughters and in 2017 I became a G-Ma to a beautiful grand-daughter. I don’t have all the answers and I am constantly learning from both my private and professional lives, allowing me to keep adapting to situations that cross my path.
